Recognize the danger

Filling balloons with a heliumtank from Amazon is not without danger.

Tinnitus Danger

From my own experience I know that living with tinnitus is no fun. When filling a balloon with a helium the mouthpiece exploded and I now have to learn to live with tinnitus. Be careful, forewarned is forearmed.

Protect your eyes

Your eyes are priceless and above all very vulnerable. The pressure wave that can be created by a nozzle explosion could damage your eyes. Take good care.

Hearingdamage

Wear hearing protection when using a helium tank such as the BalloonGaz which you can buy at Action. The nozzle can burst and the bang can be so loud that hearing damage can occur.

Watch out

Never let children fill balloons with a helium tank. The pressure wave that can be released in an accident is enormous. Since children have shorter arms, they will probably put their face closer to the helium tank, which greatly increases the danger.

The accident

An accident can happen in a blink of an eye but can have major consequences. What happened to me and what consequences this still has for me every day, you can read here.
